If I ever get married, this is the song I want to be played at my wedding:
When you say you love me (Josh Groban)
Like the sound of silence calling, I hear your voice and suddenly I'm falling, lost in a dream
Like the echoes of our souls are meeting, You say those words and my heart stops beating. I wonder what it means.
What could it be that comes over me? At times I can't move. At times I can hardly breathe
When you say you love me The world goes still, so still inside and When you say you love me For a moment, there's no one else alive
You're the one I've always thought of. I don't know how, but I feel sheltered in your love. You're where I belong.
And when you're with me if I close my eyes, There are times I swear I feel like I can fly For a moment in time.
Somewhere between the Heavens and Earth And frozen in time, Oh when you say those words.
When you say you love me The world goes still, so still inside and When you say you love me For a moment, there's no one else alive
And this journey that we're on. How far we've come and I celebrate every moment. And when you say you love me, That's all you have to say. I'll always feel this way.
When you say you love me The world goes still, so still inside and When you say you love me In that moment, I know why I'm alive
When you say you love me. When you say you love me. Do you know how I love you?
I realise how fate can screw with you sometimes. I was deciding between going either to Josh's concert on the 9th or 10th of Melbourne that day. I wanted to go to the one on the 10th because that was his last show in Melbourne, but then I couldn't get seats so I went for the one on the 9th instead. I got to see him on the 9th - then I was tempted to go back on the 10th just to get his autograph, but I decided that it would be overkill so I didn't go - and later I heard from fans that he didn't meet to give autographs after the show on the 10th. So if I hadn't gone for the show on the 9th I would have never gotten to meet him at all/give him my goodie bag/speak to him/gotten his autograph. And that scares me. God works in wondrous ways.
I just discovered a few of Josh's new songs: He sings the most beautiful "O Holy Night" that I've ever heard - he also has sung the best "Star Spangled Banner" I've ever heard - I can't believe I'm listening to the American National Anthem just to hear Josh sing. He sings it with so much pride & passion too - I'm not even American & even I feel patriotic!!! And he sang a song with Babara Streisand called "All I know of love" which is amazing too. *sigh* I miss him already.
