late.
So my family came and left like a month ago and I'm only blogging about it now. I wish I had more time to blog. Then again. Blogging used to be a daily routine when I was in uni and had too much free time to think about random things. Ahhhh the good ol' days.I want so badly to break away from routine and just take a nice, long break somewhere far away...where I don't have to do anything, I don't have to sightsee...I don't have to bring a phone with me....I just need to sit in a villa all day and sip ice lemon tea and read a book, or watch chick flicks, or just laze around in bed and watch the sun set. I'm dreamin' again aren't I?Back to the topic - family here, although only for a week, was awesome because I really missed them. We went on mad shopping sprees (much to the disgust of my dad) but glad that I got to spend time with and spoil my siblings because they are good kids and I want nothing but the best for them. I think they were impressed with Juin's cooking. I'm so grateful that Juin enjoys hanging out with my family and friends. I've always wanted someone who could integrate themselves into my life....though I'm not the sort to integrate myself into anyone else's life. After my family left I couldn't believe how much I've become like my mom. Even Juin noticed it. I'm proud of that because she is an amazing woman and someday I hope to be half of who she is.
Tonight is the FIFA World Cup 2010 Final. I can't believe a month has flown past just like that. I didn't manage to watch many matches because the ones I really wanted to watch were mostly at 4.30am in the morning, and with a job I can't afford to be waking up at such an unGodly hour :S I really must watch the final though, especially because it involves Spain...I really want them to win. I must say though that Netherlands did really well themselves. I must say I'm not crazy about the orange jerseys.Another week has come and gone. Looking forward to the snow next weekend!
