Ahhhhh it's that time of the year again. Chinese New Year. The time of the year that people shop like there's no tomorrow. I have been out these few days trying to run errands for mom as well as trying to get all my stuff ready to pack because I'm leaving Singapore in another 4 days >.<
People are just mad. Correction. Singaporeans are mad. There are no signs of recession here as they buy, buy, buy and buy some more.
Tonight is the Chinese New Year eve reunion dinner. Lots of eating coming my way!!
My birthday = I'm old. Celebrating it with my favourite nephew:
Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. I got a shock when I switched my mobile on in the morning and it showed 10 new messages :) Got many more throughout the day. Thank you!
Juin and I realised that we bought the same birthday card for each other. Great minds think alike I guess :)
My brother bought the whole Guitar Hero World Tour set so I have been hearing drumming for the past 3 days non-stop. Urgh. Here's my rocker nephew with his dad:
I must say that Guitar Hero is pretty addictive. It's definitely not as easy as it looks.
Time to go get ready for dinner. I'm so tired >.<

Sorry folks...I've been MIA-ing for awhile I know. The weather's too hot, the world is boring, yadayadayada. It's nice to hole up in my room alone with my book once in awhile.
I know I'm turning a ripe old 24 next week *yesyes I am getting heaps of 'omg u are sooo oldddd' comments. Whatever. I decided that 24 is such a hmmm-ha age that I can't be bothered celebrating it. When I turn a quarter of a century old next year I probably will celebrate it with a bang, but 24 is just tooo hmmm-ha = neither here nor there.
I have things to do and errands to run (now that Chinese New Year is coming) but I am doing what I do best (procrastinating) again.
Celebrated my honeypot's birthday with him on 13 Jan at the stroke of midnight (Aussie time). Looked ridiculous holding a piece of cake with a lighted candle up towards the webcam and singing but I did it anyway.
Josh is one of the celebrities to be singing at Obama's Presidential Inauguration. A must watch :)

Happy new year everyone!!! :)
I never succeed in keeping New Year Resolutions so I don't think I'll set myself up for another failure this time.
Life is short, let's break the rules.
Forgive quickly, kiss slowly,
love truly, laugh uncontrollably...
And never forget anything that makes you smile :)
And as I say at every new year...Let's hope this year will be better than the last.
